In "Hunted", a mysterious woman kidnaps Det. Nick Knight's partner, Don Schanke, and ties him to a chair with a time bomb underneath the seat. The Hunter has perpetrated a series of thrill kills, offering poor people a reward if they can escape her for a half an hour. However, when she realizes that one of the detectives investigating the case is a vampire, she decides to try her skill at hunting him, instead. To persuade Nick to take part, she kidnaps his partner, leaving a tape that explains that Nick has half an hour to find Schanke before she kills him. She also leaves him a watch that counts down the remaining time.

The Hunter has perpetrated a series of thrill kills, offering poor people a reward if they can escape her for a half an hour. To persuade Nick to take part, she kidnaps his partner, leaving a tape that explains that Nick has half an hour to find Schanke before she kills him. She also leaves him a watch that counts down the remaining time. In order that she may have freedom of movement while maintaining the threat to Schanke, the Hunter ties him to a chair and places a time bomb underneath the seat. Then she goes after Nick. However, as he eludes her, she retreats to her hideout. He breaks in and rescues Schanke; and she is blown up by her own bomb.
