Glen Dell (Johannesburg, april 9, 1962 – died 12 October 2013) was a South African pilot who took part in the Red Bull Air Race World Series. His father was a pilot in the Second World War. Dell earned his Private Pilot License in 1979. He then went on to fly helicopters at the South African Air Force. After he obtained his Commercial Pilot License , he was adopted by the South African Airways where he was a Senior Training Captain . On 12 October 2013 crashed during an air show Dell in Secunda in Mpumalanga and he died from his injuries in the Sunninghill Hospital in Johannesburg.

He takes part in the World Championship since 1994 aerial acrobatics and was champion in 2004 .Since 2008 he also takes part in the Red Bull Air Race. On 12 October 2013 crashed during an air show Dell in Secunda in Mpumalanga and he died from his injuries in the Sunninghill Hospital in Johannesburg.
